Lawyer Nicola Ricciardi

Nicola Ricciardi, of counsel at Studio Legale Ventimiglia, deals with tax litigation and corporate taxation, tax transactions, over-indebtedness, voluntary disclosure, customs and excise duties.

Mr Ricciardi also provides advice on disputes relating to the art market, in which he specialises, with specific reference to taxation.

Specifically, he assists with the entire management of artistic assets, providing preventive and subsequent advice during audits by the Guardia di Finanza (Italian Financial Police) – Artistic and Archaeological Heritage Protection Unit and, more generally, during checks carried out by the tax authorities on works of art.

In addition to his litigation work, he also provides out-of-court assistance to private collectors, galleries, auction houses and art sector operators, on whose behalf he follows, in particular, the regime of operations following Brexit.

He was Legal Adviser to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers – Department of Community Policies (2003-2005), Lecturer in tax law at the “A. C. Jemolo” Institute of Legal Studies of Lazio and member of the “Tax Litigation Study Group” at the Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Turin (2013-2018).

From 2013 to 2018, he served as a member of the “Tax Law Project” at the Rome Bar Association.
