Nicola Ricciardi, of counsel at Studio Legale Ventimiglia, deals with tax litigation and corporate taxation, tax transactions, over-indebtedness, voluntary disclosure, customs and excise duties.

Mr Ricciardi also provides advice on disputes relating to the art market, in which he specialises, with specific reference to taxation.

Specifically, he assists with the entire management of artistic assets, providing preventive and subsequent advice during audits by the Guardia di Finanza (Italian Financial Police) – Artistic and Archaeological Heritage Protection Unit and, more generally, during checks carried out by the tax authorities on works of art.

In addition to his litigation work, he also provides out-of-court assistance to private collectors, galleries, auction houses and art sector operators, on whose behalf he follows, in particular, the regime of operations following Brexit.

He was Legal Adviser to the Presidency of the Council of Ministers – Department of Community Policies (2003-2005), Lecturer in tax law at the “A. C. Jemolo” Institute of Legal Studies of Lazio and member of the “Tax Litigation Study Group” at the Order of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts of Turin (2013-2018).

From 2013 to 2018, he served as a member of the “Tax Law Project” at the Rome Bar Association.

Riccardo is the Firm’s Desk Manager in London. While pursuing a law degree, a qualification obtained at the University of Ferrara, he also gained experience as a visiting foreign student at the University of Potsdam and Berlin where he distinguished himself for his achievements in the field of contract and bond law (Schuldrecht). After qualifying as a lawyer, he completed a Master’s Degree Specializing in Tax Process Law. He is also a member of the London Bar Association (SRA). Upon completion of his academic training, Riccardo worked as a Legal Assistant at the European Parliament operating between Brussels and Strasbourg. He was, as well, Head of Institutional Relations, at the Legal Department of A.M.G. Energia S.p.A., managing issues related to relations between A.M.G. Energia, investee companies, political representatives and users. Between 2010 and 2015, Riccardo worked with an International Firm based in London, as Head of the Private Clients Department, as well as Regional Manager for Spain at the Barcelona office. He specializes in Estate Planning, Wealth Transfer and Cross-border legal assistance. As the manager in charge of the London office, Riccardo offers assistance both to local firms planning to explore other European and international markets and to Italian and foreign firms planning business expansion in the UK. He is fluent in English, Spanish and German.

Valter is the Head of the Rome office and offers assistance in the areas of corporate law, banking law, tax law, trusts and personal asset protection. Valter also handles fashion law, bankruptcy law, and intellectual and industrial property protection.

Ciro advises private parties participating in tenders issued by public administrations on the correct legal setting of bids and a clear relationship with the client as well as public administrations on the setting up and management of tenders pertaining to the design, construction and management of major works, including infrastructure and service contracts. Ciro also assists public and private entities in litigation of all kinds before all national jurisdictions, mainly in dealing with issues related to public procurement. He participates as a speaker in courses and seminars organized by SDA Bocconi, MIP – Politecnico di Milano, Assoservizi and THEMIS (School for Public Administration) on issues related to public contracts for services, works and supplies and on initiatives to be carried out in project financing.

Patrizia is a Avvocato Cassazionista, enrolled in the Rome Bar Association since 1997 and practicing in offices in Rome and Milan. She has attended professional development courses, including abroad at Columbia Law School, Harvard Law School and Fordham University. He performs judicial and consulting work for Italian and international clients in the area of Civil Law. Thanks to the experience, professional and university teaching, gained over the years, he regularly holds training and mentoring courses for young lawyers and is a speaker in masters and seminars, both in Italy and abroad. He is a founding partner of Kairós LBC.

Edoardo joined the team in April 2021 in support of the Compliance Department, dealing with extrajudicial assistance on Legislative Decree 231/2001 and actively working on the drafting of organizational models. A graduate in Law, he also holds the position of technical secretary within several Supervisory Boards of leading Italian and multinational companies.

Davide graduated in Law from the University of Milan in 2015 and has been a member of the Milan Bar Association since 2018. He joined the firm dealing mainly with commercial criminal law and bankruptcy crimes. Davide has also gained experience in several Supervisory Boards of Italian and multinational companies, first with technical secretarial positions and then also participating in the SBs. He has also been performing for quite some time extrajudicial assistance activities in the field of Legislative Decree 231/2001, as well as consulting activities in the field of Privacy-European Reg. 2016/679 “GDPR Privacy”. Marco graduated in Law from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in Milan in 2013 and has been a member of the Milan Bar Association since 2016. As part of his professional experience, Marco has worked mainly on White Collar Crimes focusing on corporate criminal law, tax criminal law, banking criminal law, environmental criminal law and construction criminal law.

Marco is co-head of the Criminal Department, together with the Founder of the Firm, and in recent years he has, as well, gained extensive experience in the area of administrative liability of entities under Legislative Decree 231/2001, both in and out of court, dealing with the preparation of Organization, Management and Control Models as well as their application as a member of Supervisory Boards of leading Italian and multinational Companies. Marco Dallavalle was born in Piacenza on Dec. 30, 1964, and graduated in Law from the University of Parma in 1988. He is a member of the Milan Bar Association, and is qualified to practice before the Superior Courts.

He was a founding partner of one of the most important law firms specializing in food law.

Lawyer Dallavalle offers legal assistance and advice to companies on food law, environmental law and issues related to occupational safety (D.L.vo 81/08), as well as for the implementation and application of regulations on the administrative responsibility of entities (D.L.vo 231/01) and for the study and preparation of delegation of functions in the corporate sphere.

He has published articles on food law in various legal and industry journals. He was the author of the introduction to the “Food” entry of “The Environmental Code” by Stefano Maglia and Maurizio Santoloci and co-author, together with the above-mentioned, of the “Food and Beverage Code” both published by La Tribuna Publishing House – Piacenza.

As a lecturer, he has taught courses on food law addressed to professionals in the sector at the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Milan and corporate training courses.

As a speaker, he frequently participates in conferences on food law organized by public bodies and sector organizations.
